Accommodations
Tourist guests will be received only in the
Government-recognized hotels and lodges at all
tourist destinations. Hotels, lodges and guest
houses are simple, tasteful, and comfortable
with minimum facilities.

accommodation units offering best of everything.
Trekkers will also have a choice of either
spending nights in typically Bhutanese houses
and cottages or camping underneath the quiet
night skies.
Clothing
Cotton and light woolen cloth is advised for
Summer (June-Sep), heavy woolen cloths and
jackets the rest of the year. Bring appropriate
cloths to adopt yourselves to changing weather
conditions.
Some items you could bring with you:
Sunglasses, comfortable shoes, shaving kit, hat,
umbrella, camera, film and accessories, books,
maps, insect repellent, hand cream, torch with
spare cells, and ointments may be brought, and
rain gear. Scanty clothing or wearing shorts may
look offensive, especially while visiting
religious and administrative centers.
Photography
Visitor may bring plenty of film and batteries
since there are great photographic opportunities
on all trips. Bhutanese photo shops lack quality
equipment and accessories.
